Victory Centre of South Chicago celebrates opening

A long term goal for South Chicago senior advocates came to fruition recently with the opening of the Victory Centre of South Chicago. Located on the 3200 block of east 92nd street, Pathway Senior Living and NHS Redevelopment Corporation are developing a senior campus two blocks from Villa Guadalupe, representing $50 million in investment for the community. The senior campus now includes over 100 assisted living units as well as a planned City Department of Family & Support Services' satellite senior center and senior independent living apartments. The development team includes architect, Harley Ellis Devereaux and general contrator, Pepper Construction. Claretian Associates serves as the community partner assisting with marketing and resident and employee referrals.
