Chicago Park District, TRACE Program, & Major Taylor Cycling Club Chicago

  • 10-noon: The TRACE (Teens Re-Imagining Art, Community & Environment) Program will host a park and garden clean-up 10 am – 12 pm, all are welcome to come out and make the park look great for the beginning of summer;
  • 12 to 3 pm, the Major Taylor Cycling Club Chicago will discuss the health benefits of bicycle riding, provide  free bike repairs and how-to about bike maintenance, followed by a bike ride throughout the community;
  • 3 to 5 pm: TRACE will show a movie, The Future of Food, a fascinating and alarming account of how genetically modified grains impact our food supply, inside the field house.
