Over 200 supporters of the arts enjoyed the work of southeast side artists at an art fair September 15 on the site of the former USX steel mill, Chicago’s last undeveloped lakefront property. The Southeast Chicago Coalition for the Arts hosted this 2nd annual art fair sponsored by McCaffery Interests, LISC/Chicago New Communities Program and Claretian Associates. The art fair took place at the Chicago Lakeside Development, 8555 South Greenbay Avenue, two blocks east of Route 41.
