National Astronomy Night at Calumet Park (7pm-10pm)
Calumet Park, 9801 S. Ave. G
Join an astronomer to view the night sky on a national night of stargazing. The event will be rescheduled in the case of rain. Bring your own telescope and receive one on one instruction in stargazing techniques. There will be binoculars and telescopes for you to use if you do not have your own, plus a nocturnal bug hunt for kids.

Tree keeper Karen Roothan will lead a tree walk through the south end of the Bush neighborhood, showcasing the urban forestry work done since 2005 along parkways. We will meet at 86th and Burley, then walk through several blocks of our recently planting, and end up at the Bush Community Gardens of Hope for a one hour garden tour. May 28th | 16th Annual Wolf Lake Bi-State Wetlands, Wind & Water Festival (9am-4pm)

The Association for the Wolf Lake Initiative showcases Wolf Lake and surrounding natural areas as a resource for recreation, family fun, and helps foster bi-state cooperation. Activities include: Fishing clinic, kite flying, face painting, canoeing, birding, hiking/nature walk, wind surfing instructions, bike tour of Wolf Lake, student demonstrations, picnic lunch, sunrise service, tours, poster contest and campfires.
