Hurlock Discusses Health Outcome's Project in South Chicago

Clartian Associates' executive director, Angela Hurlock recently interviewed with Amanda Abrams, a health fellow and freelance journalist living in Durham, NC. Hurlock shared outcomes from their neighborhood's Health Outcomes Demostration Project funded by both public and private funders. The results revealed that residents faced health issues, a community once known as a leading provider of steel globally. The results also solicited critical feedback because of the closing of the South Chicago YMCA in 2017, a healthy lifestyle staple of more than 90 years.
